Summer Hart is an RN with over 41 years of nursing experience, encompassing adult and neonatal intensive care, medical-surgical, orthopedic, emergency and oncology specialties. For the last 25 years she has been working within the Department of Defense, first as an RN for the U.S. Navy, and presently with the U.S. Army. She volunteered part time at the new Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda in the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), a U.S. military referral healing facility for TBI and PTSD for 18 months, giving energy healings to military and civilian staff caregivers and military service dogs.
For the past two decades Summer has also worked holistically with small animals, incorporating her knowledge of homeopathy, flower essences, essential oils, massage, acupressure and nutrition to facilitate complementary healing in their lives. In the past four years she has branched her healing practice to include working with large animal wildlife ie bears, lions and tigers.
Summer is a graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, a full time four-year school of energy medicine and personal transformation. With her deeper understanding of this beautiful complement to traditional health care, married with her 41 years of allopathic/traditional nursing experience and both traditional and holistic human and animal care, she is able to appreciate and work with ease with the best of both healing worlds and with multiple species.
Summer incorporates many healing modalities into her sessions: Rosalyn Bruyere and Brennan Healing Sciences, Vortex Divine Healing®, Matrix Energetics, Reiki, craniosacral, Altar of Creation, and meridian work.
